I am not sure if I just did not pay attention or if the description even mentioned the fact that this polywire is not good for installations over 200 meters. Although it is sold in 400 meter rolls. However, I did use it since that was all I had bought on a 1/3 mile run. I had over 7000 volts at the end of the run and it turned back my biggest animals no problem. I assume they are just being cautious with the 200 meter recommendation. Turbo wire is what you are supposed to use on longer runs.
